I'm totally fine with that. I enjoyed it, but I saw no need for another season.

It looks like The Killing will be coming back for a third season after all. Two and a half months after AMC opted not to renew the mystery drama for a third season, I hear the cable network is close to a deal to bring the show back, this time in tandem with streaming giant Netflix

Not sure how I feel about this yet. Not exactly excited, but I'm guessing I'll still watch if it happens.

I still need to watch Season 2. I'm guessing it'll show up on Netflix when S3 is ready to roll.

Warning: If for some reason you still have yet to watch season 2 and don't what to know who killed her yet, don't read the spoiler.

                        Re: *** The Killing: Season 2 ***

I went through the first two seasons over the past 2 weeks.

The revelation felt very meh to me considering every damn episode had about 20 different red herrings and "out of the blue" revelations and clues that suddenly come to light at just the right time.

I like the characters, but the storyline and show basically felt like a drawn out Law & Order episode. The "twists" felt convoluted and merely as a device to keep people watching. I didn't really start noticing it until the last couple episodes of season 1. With that said I think I enjoyed season 2 just as much as season 1. The "unresolved" thing didn't really bother me so much because the case was shifting into the conspiracy side which I found to be the real reason why I kept watching.

Ultimately I think all the twists hurt the final revelation and the suspension of disbelief kind of got to me as the show progressed. Linden and Holder I found to be very compelling leads and will watch season 3 simply because of them.
