I liked the way Ted kept his cuteness, despite his Boston party boy demeanor.

    Spoiler

UPDATE: Ted did over $54 million at the box office, the third best weekend debut of an R rated comedy. (#1-The Hangover Part II $85.9 million, #2-Sex and the City- $57 million)

Not surprised. Me and the gf went to see it last night, only to find out it was sold out. Went for 1pm today and it was packed.

Liked the movie alot. Glad it had some heart to it instead of pure raunchiness the whole way through.

I thought it was "meh", my father thought it was hilarious. It was Family Guy for 2 hours.

I liked it but it's amazing how Seth McFarlane hasn't had a new idea since the beginning of Family Guy.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Same thing I thought walking out of the theater. Still a funny movie and I'm glad I went to see it. Worth the watch.

So is this a movie where if you hate Family Guy you'll also hate this? The last two comments make it seem that way.

No, but the film does have random FG-like moments. The thing is, they aren't story-related at all. It will normally just be the narrator seemingly going on some sort of wild tangent, so while those jokes might fall flat for you (along with some others during the course of the film), the rest of the it has pretty good humor overall.

Both of us said that we liked the movie so I'm not sure where you got that from.

I saw the movie Saturday night and the 1st place we went was sold out. Which was shocking because I have never seen a movie there where it was half full. But I thought the movie was hilarious.

Saw it Saturday night. A lot of reviews said 21 Jump Street was funny earlier this year and I didn't think it was all that funny, so wasn't sure what to expect. Came away pleasantly surprised, Ted was very funny. There were some out of left field comedy attempts that fell a little flat but overall was a job well done imo. I thought the way they explained Ted's acceptance in the "real world" was actually somewhat plausible lol. Not a big Mila Kunis fan but thought she was really good. Usually like Mark Wahlberg in whatever he plays in, really liked him here
