This is easily the best movie Marvel has put out, including Avengers. Even though you knew that most of the people were going to live, the Russo's did a great job of making it feel like any of them could die at any moment. Oh and this is the most brutal comic book movie I've seen in awhile. They typically have bloodless fight/shootout scenes or cut away before something happens but they went as far as they could with a PG-13 rating. I can't wait to see it again.

The Russo's are big rising stars, IMO. Great to hear they did such a good job here too.

Agree with jmood, BEST MARVEL MOVIE YET. Part spy-thriller, part-action flick, part-superhero movie, all kinds of great. Thinking back to all the Marvel films to date, I believe this is the first time I've been required to think as the story moved forward - and that is a damned good thing. Absolutely stellar.

Comic book fans will love all the tidbits thrown-in. Make sure to stay until the VERY END of the credits.

Verdict: Cool. Cool cool cool.

Joss Whedon handled the mid-credit sequence of the twins (Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch). Really liking how Quicksilver's speed is being portrayed on-screen! And Elizabeth Olsen looks kinda hot as Wanda.

Are we as viewers not supposed to know who the Winter Soldier is? Because I don't think it could be less obvious if they tried.

I think that it's more about Captain America not knowing who it is cause there have been some featurettes released where the Russo's say who it is.

Even though it's mostly noise, I love the Winter Soldier theme cause it fits the character perfectly and makes him feel like a horror movie monster whenever he appears. It reminds me a lot of the Joker theme from Dark Knight.

Yep my exact thought too jmood. The scene where he had Black Widow cornered and that piercing scream thing came (3:25) in was when I started to enjoy his theme a lot. It was perfect.

Great movie. Action sequences were some of the best of any Superhero movie I've seen. The story was great as well I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
