    Norse Mythology

Where's the Norse Mythology love? We get tons of stuff on Greek Mythology (300, Immortals, Clash Of the Titan, Hercules and even God of War) but no one knows about Norse Mythology. I didn't get my taste of it until i played that forsaken game Too Human, but just that glimpse has intrigued me. Then Add the Thor movie and the Avengers to the mix, feeding more of that Mythology then color me impressed.

Not knowing too much about Norse, is the reason why it isn't big in the eyes of movie producers or video game makers because there's no rising hero like Hercules, Perseus etc etc? Looking into the Mythology is appears that Marvel took a bunch of liberties and crafted it to their liking. Odin as has more than just two sons, he has a slew of them. It just baffles me that the only names known with Norse Mythology are Odin, Thor and Loki, yet when we talk about Greek Mythology, people can name bunches of names.

The Norse gods are kind of cool because unlike the gods of Greece, they can die and know about their ending; and if Too Human was accurate to the Mythology like they insisted, then this god no one speaks of, Buldur is suppose to be a big deal.

I just want something that's more then the Thor movies to expand on the Mythology

I'd suggest picking up a book about mythology from your local library. And or go to wikipedia and type in Norse Mythology.

While I do love Norse Mythology, I fell in love with Greek first so those names are awlays the most prominent on my mind.

Of course, the Odyssey is probably the main reason why Greek mythology is more easily recognizable. Also, if you read the Thor comic books they go more in depth.
