One of my biggest pet peeves in the world is a local business not having even a basic Web site.
Me and my brother already run a local business out of our house fixing computers and crap like that. I am still in college and he works for the school so what little business we have is students. He has done some sites for friends and family. Nothing special, usually use templates because we are uncreative, but nonetheless it's a place on the internet.
I move home during the summer so I thought about trying to get some business from my home town on board. For the money and just to get some experience.
We already pay for a GoDaddy hosting so really the only cost would be to register a domain.
Anyone run a business like this? I am not sure what reasonable pricing would be. I know times are tough. My biggest issue might be places not really ever thinking about it, then I come along and they realize they can just get a friend to do it for free. I knew I should have paid attention in my business classes.
