Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper”—a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)—is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good. . . until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. the film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.

    Day one for me.

I'd be more interested if Willis weren't in it. He's been a pretty ****ty actor for a while now. All he seems to do these days is smirk and mumble. I'll still check it out on Netflix though.

That smirk and mumble has made him a wealthy man for generations.

He didn't always do that. He's just gotten lazy and started phoning it in.

Rian Johnson directed the film "Brick" also starring JGL and it was one of the best movies of the last decade. He also did a hell of a job directing one of my favorite episodes of my favorite current TV show; Breaking Bad - "Fly."

                    Looks cool.

What's up with JGL's face though? Make-up to make both actors look alike?

This is the type of movie that's right up my alley. It definitely looks cool.

It's nice to see a movie with a fresh new original idea.

Well, it's not like he's got this huge range. When you watch a movie with Willis, you pretty much know what you're getting. I love how he's right on the border of smarmy, arrogant and yet likable.
