Finally watched this. Really liked it a lot. Can't stop thinking about it even if there is a major paradox at the end.

It's all good. The story was superb. I don't understand how narration is bad writing but I'm not gonna argue someone's opinion on that.

JGL is an instant watch which everyone already knows. When Willis shoots down some bad guys, I almost felt like he couldn't wait to have his old Bruce Willis moment in the film.

It's also a nice little nod to older actors. Willis the old star gets a chance to still be a star while kinda passing the torch to a younger new star. I don't think Willis ever had the opportunity to be in JGL's position years back, but I'm sure JGL will remember it when it's him handing the baton, so to speak.

Great film. Not just great sci-fi film. Great film. It's more about the story and characters than the science fiction around it.

Also, that kid was amazing. It seems every couple years we see a brilliant new young actor. This kid is the next one and he's better than the last.

Anyone know if the digital copy from Amazon or somewhere includes commentary? I want to rewatch it with it on and own the film digitally.

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
