Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man

Kinda surprised there isn't a topic on the movie yet. Saw it Saturday night in Philly with the GF. I went in not expecting it to be much more than some Tyler Perry-like movie but it was SO much more. Absolutely hilarious and entertaining movie. I know some people love/hate Kevin Hart but for me he stole pretty much every scene he was in. The movie is a bit contrived and doesn't break any new ground from a romantic comedy standpoint. But it's very entertaining - really liked the ethnically diverse cast that didn't seem forced and there was a lot of open dialogue. I really don't like Steve Harvey or his book but the movie's really good, with some nice uncredited cameos. First movie in a while I'll likely pay to go see again. Missed some of the jokes because the audience was laughing so loudly. I'd give it an A-
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

Nope, not breaking any new ground or anything.....but as you said: great date movie....had me rolling...

Kevin Hart seemed annoying from the previews, but he was hilarious....well with the price of admission..

Kevin Hart is hella funny. Much better movie than what I was expecting. Theatre was packed where I went.

This is just a 2 hour commercial for Steve Harvey. Kevin Hart was the only thing that saved it from being a complete waste of time but as a whole, this movie was awful.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I agree with Jmood. It was ok. A few laughs, mostly because of Hart.

I enjoyed it for what it was worth. It's one of those movies where you know how it's going to end, but that's fine. Good for a one time watch.

it was pretty good for what I wanted it to be a simple date movie. Kevin Hart stole every scene he was in, especially at the end with his GF. Kevin Hart was also pretty good in Five Year Engagement which was hilarious
