Yeah, just see the first one. At least Marlon was funny (IMO). Not enough ninjas (Shadow and Snake Eyes) for me though. They are the only reason I bothered to watch and finish the movie.

Re: GI Joe: Retalliation
Nothing inspires confidence in a movie for me more than a 9 month delay
After Paramount decided to bring on Jon Chu to direct G.I. Joe: Retaliation, it was a bit strange that they announced the movie would be in 2D. After all, Chu is best known for having directed both Step Up 3D and Never Say Never, the 3D Justin Bieber concert documentary. Still, we shrugged it off because we here at Cinema Blend always prefer 2D films. But now something very strange is happening.Comment

Bad move IMO.......3D movies are way over hyped and not even worth the extra admission.Comment

I'm upset by this. I knew 3D was going to be even more widely used when Avengers did those crazy numbers, but pushing back a finished film a year just for 3D. DumbComment

Re: GI Joe: Retalliation
Anybody going to see this? After reading some reviews where it sounds like they've rebooted in a way to be more like the GI Joe from my childhood (not an international fighting force), I'm thinking about seeing it.Comment

I'll be checking it out this weekend as well. Always up for some over the top action flicks."This is for all of my peoples who understand and truly recognize. Some won't get it and for that i won't apologize"- Talib KweliComment

This was better than the first one but it still wasn't that great.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
