I have the opportunity to get the Samsung C9000 (2010 model discontinued) 55" LED 240Hz HDTV for only $1200. I've heard both good and bad about this TV, it looks amazing in store but not sure how it would be at handling fast motion scenes from games, sports, movies, etc. The design though is beautiful and only .31 inches thin, currently the thinnest on the market. (until OLED comes out)

My other options are the 55" Panasonic Viera 2012 lineup Plasma HDTVs:

What do you guys think? I've heard overall Plasma's (especially Panasonic Vieras)offer a deeper, better picture, especially black/darker scenes as well as being better for gaming and fast motion with Vieras being 600Hz.
