Donna Summer, Queen of Disco, dies at 63

    Article

Apparently she was battling cancer which I had no clue about until today. I mostly remember her for this song:

Well actually I know her more for "She works hard for the money" but I decided to go slightly off the beaten path there.

"Love to Love You, Baby" was quite scandalous when it first hit the airwaves, due to Ms. Summer's "inspired" performance...

That song pretty much started the "extended disco / club mix" / 12" single, as well as launching the career of electronic music legend, Giorgio Moroder...

    RIP, Donna Summer!

Beautiful woman, great (and underappreciated imo) voice. RIP

Great voice, great music and good times are reflected when I think of her songs.

I know people die everyday but this one hit me hard!! I've got most of her songs on my IPhone and listen to them religiously! I was born during disco amd grew up hearing ALOT of her songs. Thats where I developed my appreciation for good music unlike today garbage. She inspired me through her songs and lifted me when I was down. Some of her greats probably went unnoticed:

"this time I know it's forreal"
              "dinner with gershwin"
              "heaven knows"

Broke my heart when I heard of her passing. Ms Summers, thank you for being such a vital part of my life! I hope God is enjoying his front row seat to your performances...

              :c)
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...
