About “The Glass House” On the premiere, 14 contestants will enter the house and compete in challenges that America will be deciding what happens in the house. Every week one contestant will be evicted from the house

Obviously a Big Brother ripoff. And starting a month before Big Brother as well(though everything from challenges/voting out happens in a single episode,like Survivor).

CBS has already sued ABC for making this show since it's basically like Big Brother 1, but more interactive with the fans(though BB1 was still fairly interactive).


Why can't someone rip off Survivor and air the show from June-August or something lol.

It does look like a BB ripoff and it will premiere Monday June 18th. I'm still going to watch out of curiosity. lol

It airs Monday at 10pm EST, so I'm not gonna be watching it when it first airs since there's obviously better shows on to watch.

The promo itself makes it look like BB1 and maybe abit of BB9, which doesn't make it look like a good show at all considering that big brother wasn't real great until big brother 6(though 9 was so bad, even the producers don't want to talk about that season)

I tuned in for like 2-3 minutes and it seems real bad. It's so bad, "Big Brother" is trending on twitter, cause that's how bad the show is. It's making people talk about how Glass House ISN'T big brother, cause glass house is everything big brother doesn't look for when casting for obvious reasons(cause it sucks).

I wouldn't be surprised if CBS didn't sue ABC anymore cause claiming that Glass House is a rip off of Big Brother is disrespecting Big Brother.

On the plus side....at least it makes people that much more excited for Big Brother.

While it was a bad season, I think that's more because the winner is in federal prison after funding a drug ring with his winnings. LOL

It got 4.2M viewers. Considering that most tv shows get higher ratings on their premiere than they would the rest of the season...that's real bad.

Big Brother gets like double that rating(and that's considering that they air during the summer, when less people watch tv from june-september than october-december)

Watched it with the wife. It was terrible and cheesey.

The "villain" basically spent half the show calling a chick fat and being completely relentless about it for no real reason. They have no history.

And then the way they vote...is just stupid and cheesy and looks like it belongs in show from the late 90's.

Doubt I will watch again.

watched part of an episode only because my sister was watching the start of it after the Bachelorette and was yelling about how she knew a girl on it. She had a few classes with Holly and had the same major (psychology). In the episode I was watching, apparently she had lied about being an art history major. Other contestants called her on it and asked her to name an artist she studied. Then she came clean about being a psychology major and they asked her to name one of the papers she'd written. It was hilarious as my sister was screaming at the TV for her to name the group paper they had worked on (that Holly had allegedly written most of, that they actually got in trouble for plagiarizing the abstract lol).

Interesting though, because I am familiar with Apollo on the show. We were on the same "local hip-hop" message board years ago, and I think I had briefly talked to him about making beats for him at one point. He's not very liked on the show, which is not at all surprising because he didn't get much respect in the local hip hop community either. Funny that the 2 of them apparently are the ones at risk to be "voted off" next episode.

With that said, won't watch it again. Awful show overall.
