    1st 3D movie.

I need some help guys. I just purchased and 73" Mitshubishi diamond series 3D DLP TV. I've never watched a 3D movie before and I wanted to make this a special moment. What movie should I watch?

I've already seen Transformers 3 and Avatar, but I heard those 2 are pretty good.

Not my list but taken from a member of bluray.com:
    Underworld Awakening
    Hugo
    Rio
    Beauty and the Beast
    Lion King 3D
    Despicable Me
    How to Train Your Dragon
    Tangled
    Avatar
    Coraline
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
    Monsters vs. Aliens
    Toy Story
    Toy Story 2
    Toy Story 3
    Up
    Kung Fu Panda
    Kung Fu Panda 2

So it looks like you can't go wrong with any Pixar 3D movie.

Check out a cartoon or Pixar movie. For me those seem to really pop out 3D more than any action movie.

I really liked Despicable Me and How to Train your Dragon. Both have a cool first person shot in 3d.

The list given by Gamec0ck is pretty good. I believe there's a Hubble Documentary in 3D that has really good reviews.

Now, pics of your TV? 73" is huge!

I thought Thor in 3D was pretty cool. That was the first 3D BR i picked up.

I disagree with captain America being in 3D being good.

My list would be Avatar, Any Pixar, transformers dark side of the moon.

Transformers actually surprised me with the quality of the 3D.

Still waiting for the Avatar 3D Blu-Ray to be released outside of the Panasonic TV exclusive. One day hopefully. That would have been my first choice for a 3D movie on my set.

But speaking of 3D, at least we can watch the 2012 Olympics in 3D this year courtesy of NBC:

The X-Games were great in 3D, maybe the Olympics will be too.

                        Atlanta Braves
                        - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

I watched Captain America in 3D, was very good.

I wouldn't personally recommend Avatar, but that's just me lol(3 hours of my life I won't get back)
