For "right wing conservative" radio, I listen to Mark Levin.
Sports, Jim Rome

Comedy, Phil Hendrie

Hard to say who's the best. They're all talented in their own right. These are my personal faves only. ( and please leave the politics out)

I don't know if that counts, fall under comedy.

His segments (Bernice Jenkins Church Announcements, Special K's Top 5, etc), have me in tears.

Used to be Jim Rome for me but then I found the Dan Patrick show. I record it on tv and watch it everyday when I get home from work. The most entertaining sports show out there in my opinion .

When I tune into sports radio it's either to Mike North or JT the Brick. I'll watch DP from time to time.

Talk: Mark Levine / Quinn & Rose (when I can remember to tune in)

Sports: not much on the national circuit for me. I like some of the not-ready- for-prime-time WIP guys. Tried to get into Mark Missinelli on the other Philly sports radio show, but we got into it and he really didn't bring anything to the argument as far as I could see. He's too hip for his own good (cough - Rome - cough)

Comedy: Phil Hendrie is still around!!!??!! Where?? How do I not know this. And when he was on, Gary Burbank was great.

JT The Brick is alright; I like his energy for a late night show. Not sold on his sidekick Tom Looney(sp), though. I feel he should just do updates and scores.....

I like Terry Gross from Fresh Air. She always has great interviews.

Then there's Garrison Keillor who deserves much more credit than he gets for A Prairie Home Companion.

I don't really listen to much talk other than that.

As far as sports go I love listening to Bob McCown. You should check him out online if you want to get a taste for his work. He's been on cruise control a bit the last couple years but when he wants to, he can do some very illuminating interviews and has a lot of interesting viewpoints. He's the only guy on the FAN 590 that I think could work at a US station and be successful.

For news talk I enjoy listening to a guy by the name of John Oakley though his political views are almost diametrically opposed to mine but there are instances where I agree with him and he does have some illuminating conversation talking about the local (Toronto) scene.
