Can someone help explain to me DirecTV's sports package options?

So I'm moving into a new place soon and will be setting up my cable/internet next week. I'm going with DirecTV and either their basic package (140+ channels with an HD receiver), or the package above it (150+ channels). Between those I'll have the ESPN's, BTN, TNT, etc.

I am interested though in getting a soccer package along with my basic channels. My question is - What exactly is the difference between the Fox Soccer Plus and the International Soccer packs OR is it better to just get the "Sports Pack" for $12.99/month?

It seems like some leagues are included in one, but not the other...All of their descriptions of the different packages are pretty confusing. Also, I'm looking to watch mostly the English PL.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure, but it would probably be easiest if you just call them.

I have the Sports Pack, and Fox Soccer Plus pretty much shows nothing but games. GOL TV is good if you like Bundesliga as well as other international leagues. You can find premier league games on Fox Soccer Channel as well.

Cool, thanks. That's basically what I was wondering.

I have the Sportspak with my DirecTV programming. With Sportspak, you get Fox Soccer and GolTV. Both carry a lot of games from the Premier League and the other top leagues in Europe. DirecTV also shows most of the Europa and Champions League games as well (including mix channels).

Fox Soccer Plus requires an addition purchase as it is not included in the Sportspak.

As for International Soccer, that isn't a programming package. It is just something DirecTV offers for free.

I just recently purchased the sports pack, (not even 2 months ago) and Fox Soccer Plus was included?!?!?!?
