    UPDATE 8/1:

    Trailer #1

    ORIGINAL POST:

    Slated to release October 19th.

I thought it would be worth mentioning that this will be coming out, even though there's nothing yet revealed about the film. At least they're keeping up, releasing them year in and year out.

For now, this thread sits as a placeholder and I'll edit this OP when we get more info. I'm sure it's bound to come within the next month.

For more information/discussion on any of the previous films or theories about upcoming films, refer to these threads. Please beware that there may be spoiler information outside of spoiler tags, so enter only if you dare:

Well, I certainly like them. I got to see the first one before it got "popular," and most people who went in for their own reasons and not for the hype actually liked it. I updated the first post with discussion threads on the other films, but beware that they might have some spoiler information, especially if you go into the PA3 thread and see stuff on PA1 and PA2 outside of spoiler tags.

I loved the 3rd one. As long as the movies are good and they keep the same style of filming I don't have a problem with them making more.

The third one allowed wiggle room for at least two more, if not eleven more. Many possibilities have been opened. As slowly as they want to work on the entire "story" is up to them.

Mark my words though, this won't be the last unless the film flopped.

This does look quite creepy....we thought the third one did a good job of that, but this one could take the cake.

Thanks. Just edited the OP with the trailer.

For the time being, I'm not going to watch the trailer. I'm incredibly glad, though, that the first PA3 trailer didn't even have a single shot in the theatrical version of the film. Maybe this will be the case in this film, too.

Anyway, you can bet I'll be there opening night, if not for a midnight showing!

Blzer, I will say that it was creepy and gave me the same chills the third films trailer did.

Also there is a lot in this trailer from the past films. I hope some of these scenes make it in the movie, there are two of them in particular that are pretty cool.

                    Re: Paranormal Activity 4 (2012)

Is that supposed to be the daughter (and house) from Paranormal Activity 2? I don't really know how or why she's living in the same house if it is...

Also, I've heard very mixed things about the third movie. That was the only one I haven't seen, so I was wondering if that one was any good compared to the first two, which I loved.

Loved the first one. Thought the second one was OK. Haven't seen the third one yet. May have to Netflix it this weekend. I'm sure I'll see this one in the theater.

I've really enjoyed all 3 of them so far. Part 2 was probably my least favorite, but was still entertaining.

I hope Part 4 is good as well.

A few days after getting my dog, I went to see the first PA. That night, at about 3 a.m., he wakes me up by standing on the edge of the bed and growling and barking at my bedroom door. Want to talk about being freaked out.

When I went to see the first one, I was a junior in high school and hadn't seen any of the trailers or anything. My friends told me that the movie was just a couple that had set up a camera on a tripod and that it was all real.

We then went back to my friend's house to sleep over afterwards, but I drove separately. I got there before everyone else, and his family was sleeping so the lights were all off and I didn't want to turn the lights on and wake them up. I sat in the middle of the floor in pitch black darkness for about a half hour or so before any of my friends got there. I don't think I've ever been more scared in my life. I thought they were playing some sort of sick, twisted joke on me.
