I have to say, PA3 was still my favorite of the series and the only one that has made me jump, but the ending of PA4 was hands down my favorite.

Couple of questions:

So all those women in the yard, were those all 'wives' of Tobey?Well, from the short glimpse, it looked like all women to me

Was that house that Katie bought in PA4 the same house her grandma had? It looked really familiar to the house at the end of PA3 when Katie and her sister went to their grandmas.

If that's what you want to call them. They were all possessed witches, I suppose you could say. That certainly was a freaky look, but nothing gives me the chills like in PA3 when Dennis turns on the light in the shed and sees those old women. I mean, holy crap I'm spooked by that every time!

I'd have to watch PA3 again to point out the other differences, but I'm going to say no. The grandma's house in PA3 was two stories, and I think Katie's house (or whoever "owns" it) was only one story.

I agree, those old women creeped me the **** out and still do. But I guess it was the sheer number of witches in that final scene that made me go "what the ****?"

So finally got around to watching this. Had no idea til tonight they filmed it and set it where I live Henderson, nv. The movie was solid. Not as many scares or individual events as the first three but the intense moments made up for it.

This came out on Blu-ray today, did anyone pick it up? I'm going tomorrow to pick this up at BBY, hoping it is good since we didn't get to see it in the theater.

I might rent it just to check out some things I might have missed my first viewing, but I won't buy it unless PA5 is incomplete without PA4. It just didn't do it for me compared to the other three (even the second one was meh), despite the fact it had my favorite protagonist.

We just finished watching this tonight and we really enjoyed it. I like that they took a little bit of a different approach from the previous 3 films, there was no need for the same thing over and over for a fourth time. I thought the first 3 films were great and really fit together very well. This film does feel a bit disjointed at first from the rest of the series, but things do come together connecting P4 with the first three films.

There are a lot of deleted scenes which would have been great if they added those to the film in a director's cut since they have a lot of character development.
