    ESPY

Don't know where else to post this since there really isn't a section on here to discuss something like this, so I'm guessing posting in here will be good?

Anyone watching it? Yes, it's another awards show that means nothing, but it contains people who many people on here I'm guessing probably do like(or at least really know, since this is a sports forum).

It airs tomorrow(Wednesday) at 9pmEST. ESPN for people in USA, and TSN for people in Canada(Canadians actually get ESPYs live for once!).

I have a feeling they're gonna do some sort of skit that has to do with Miami Heat winning NBA finals.

With ESPYs tomorrow, just posting some videos in the past that were good from it:

2008 was the best year ever. Justin Timberlake should host the ESPYs every year in my opinion!

No Erin Andrews or Michelle Beadle to stare at is going to bring this down a couple levels in my book.

Ya, 2008 was best one. Great musical performance, great skit, and abunch of other funny things happen(like Ferrell giving the "Best Male Athlete" speech for Tiger)

I take it you've never seen any of Rob Riggle's movies?

We need more stories like that of Pat Summit spread through the news and on sports networks. People like her are inspirational. Enough with all of the bad that is talked about. We need more of the good.

                    Re: ESPY

I got home and caught the end of Eric LeGrand's speech. Definitely got choked up a bit.. what an inspirational person. I also thought it was cool of Lebron to give him a shout out as well during his acceptance speech. I always like watching the ESPYs; it's cool to see the movie stars and entertainers as fans and see athletes in a different light.

I know they'll show it a few more times in the next couple of weeks, so hopefully I'll be able to catch the whole show at some point.

Yeah I thought his monologue was great, much better then in recent years. I only watch for the comedy, video packages, and inspirational stories anyways the awards mean little to me. Griffin/Love spot was funny as well as the fantasy football vid.

Patt Summitt and Legrand were great stories this year, it's a shame the media doesn't run more stories like this as there are plenty of other stories to be told but it only seems to be done when it's convenient for them

Yea I've seen plenty, although I never really knew his name. Funny Guy though, and I enjoyed the Espy's.

The best part of the show was when Rob Riggle's fantasy football team was called "Duck Butter." I died when I saw that.
