Oz: The Great and Powerful (Prequel To The Wonderful Wizard of Oz)

Should be interesting to see how this turns out. Looks a bit too much like Alice in Wonderland from a few years ago. Not a fan of all the CGI being used.

I kind of like what I saw.

Mila Kunis as the Wicked Witch Of The West.....much younger and much more beautiful.

    Mila-Wicked

Later years-greener and not quite as pretty.

Why in the hell does the Wizard of Oz need a prequel?

I wish they had used puppets. Movies need to use more puppets as they still look better than most CGI.

Visually it looks like a kid's movie, but the tone is pretty grim and mature.

I saw Wicked on Broadway, now that was a great Oz prequel. We'll see how this one goes...

          Atlanta Braves
          - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

I'll take good CG over puppets, and that CG looked awesome. Love the artistic look they're going for, and I'll never turn down more Mila Kunis screen time.

It's had a prequel for years. Go see Wicked, it's fantastic.

Looks pretty lame to me. James Franco needs to make his Night Stalker movie and quit goofin around.

Because not everyone wants to spend $140 to see a show, pay for parking, dinner, etc.

                    Just not a thee-A-tre person I guess.

If it's good, it's good, prequel, sequel or whatever.

If it's bad (Sting 2) it's sometimes really bad.
