Two and A Half Men and Big Bang Theory need to go away. Jon Cryer? Give me a break. I expected them to ignore Community (other than the lone writing nom), but to ignore and include those shows? Come on now.

I would take Big Bang and Veep off of the comedy list (Veep was only 7 episodes) and throw in Community and God anything else.

GoT really surprises me getting a nom for outstanding drama series.

I'm just curious but what's with all the hate on TBBT? it seems like a pretty funny show to me and I watch it regularly.

I'm also a bit surprised to see GoT getting a nomination and I daresay if the Emmys wants to earn cred with some people I bet it wins.

If GoT wins over the rest of that list I would be surprised and people would riot in the streets.

I stopped watching TBBT after season 2ish. It just became too samey to me. It was fresh and unique at first, but then it drove all the nerd/geek stuff into the ground. Plus, sit-com triteness galore. The Penny and Leonard relationship/dating thing is when I stopped.

It stands to reason that the best comedy on network TV has so many nominations.

Go Modern Family. Go Curb Your Enthusiasm. Go Homeland.

Disappointing to see Louis C.K. not get a nomination for Louie in the best comedy category.

              Come on, Jon Cryer?

You know why I'm mad. I will save you all the all-caps rant filled with swearing that would toe the TOS line.

Just know that these stupid awards piss me off.

That was a pleasant surprise. He better win.

Zooey was nominated, too, which is cool. Although even I would give that award to Amy Poehler. I swear to god if Melissa McCarthy beats both of them...

All these "legacy" need to go, I'm looking right at you Modern Family. Really everyone single cast members needed to be nominated?

Here's who I want to win

                      Damien Lewis
                      Homeland
                      Veep
                      Claire Danes
                      Louis CK

                      and here's who will win

                      Cranston
                      Mad Men
                      TBBT
                      Glenn Close
                      Jim Parsons

There, I've saved everyone the trouble of watching this PR event.

Idk, I think personally it's the best comedy on TV. However, everyone has differing opinions when it comes to TV. You got the community cult crying that they get overlooked, other people whining that certain highly rated shows suck/overrated,etc. It's all one big circle of complaining.

Boardwalk Empire was good, but it wasn't "Breaking Bad" good.
