Grew up as a kid eating it. Never really liked it, but you can definitely eat a lot worse. Haven't had any in a long time (years?).

Doesn't really have a distinct taste...I just remember the saltiness.

I don't eat processed food...
Too much sodium and / or refined sugar are lethal in the long term...

Yeah, I lost 25 pounds last year and kept it off, (minus five more)largely due to avoiding sugar........well a lot of the time.

I drink a can of Low Sodium V8 once a day, and don't see how anybody can drink the regular V8. They should have a picture of a girl with an umbrella on the can.

i had a spam cookout once just for kicks - grilled it with a marinade and some pineapple. surprisingly not bad

No, I don't. Which is odd, considering the fact that I grew up literally 20 miles from Hormel's main plant (which, for those that don't know, is the company that makes Spam).

Having a Mother from Hawaii I've eaten quite a bit of Spam, mostly for breakfast mixed in with scrambled eggs. It's not high on my list of things to eat but if cooked up right it's not the worst thing in the world.

I honestly didn't know spam was still around. I knew it was popular in the 80s or 90s but I can't remember the last time I saw it at the grocery store.
