    RIP Ron Pallilo

    aka Arnold Horseshack, "Welcome Back Kotter"

    Ron Palillo -- the actor who played Horshack on "Welcome Back, Kotter" -- died this morning at his home near Palm Beach, FL from an apparent heart attack ... this according to someone close to the actor.

    Sorry to hear that. Wasn't a big fan of the show, but there wasn't much on then.

      Damn. I always thought he was funny on WBK when I was growing up. I'll never forget his line on the very first episode:

      I also remember him as the first guy that gets killed in Friday the 13th Part 6 and also for getting his brains beat in by Screech on Celebrity Boxing about 10 years ago or so. RIP to a funny dude.

        That's all I really remember him for though now that 55 brought it up I do remember him getting clocked by Screech LOL.

          RIP

          He was also on Match Game, Love Boat, and I wouldn't doubt Murder, She Wrote.

          Read where he said he was typecast in the 80's because of Horshack.

            He certainly had to be pigeon-holed by his Horshack role, but what kind of acting range could he have had? A bit ironic that he was some sort of acting instructor. Seemed like a nice guy.

            And how many people can say they've had their likeness on a lunchbox!?
