I still think 7 is a good number.

Jimmy Smits was an outstanding addition to the cast and I like how they've blended him into the story. He's a very likeable character..

Tara in jail crushes her career, right ?

I know the evidence points in this direction, but what other reasons could there be for Tara getting picked up, besides Gemma talking ?

With the way Gemma held up her end by getting Clay sent off, it does seem unlikely.

So much to think about between now and next season.

When I watch episodes from Season 1, it amazes me how much things have changed.

It still amazes me how there's no detail spared on this show. This episode was a good example with the dog fighting (which even disturbed me a bit) to Otto biting off his tongue.

If you've noticed that's why they have their fair share of 90 minute episodes. Kurt Sutter actually said this past episode could've been several hours long but was grateful that FX lets him have 90 minutes.

Also, it's just awesome how Sutter has us rooting for a motorcycle gang because we all know this won't end well. I do appreciate his sense of humor.

Knowing Sutter, they set us up to think it was Gemma while it was that Toric fella in some crazy way.

Finale was good, but not great.

Seems as if it was pretty tame compared to the past finales we've had with SOA. Pope was the only significant death in the episode, and even though it was a surprise, I knew that Jax would eventually do it. I just didn't think he'd let Tig remain alive. Writers did a good job as making it seem like Tig was about to die soon as they kept decreasing the amount of lines he had on the show.

I also like the clever writing and planning they've put Jax in. The whole thing with killing Pope with Clay's gun was a complete surprise and made Jax look like a mastermind. I really thought Jax asked Juicey to kill Clay.

Speaking of.. what is up with Juice? Ugh.. it's like Sutter hates him, because he's becoming this annoying little girl that seems to cry or come very close to it when it becomes serious.

What's up with Bobby giving up his VP status? He's another one that's becoming a little too emotional.

Here's hoping Chibs becomes VP and Happy becomes Sergeant of Arms.

My prediction for next season. Clay does not get killed while in prison, but instead associates himself with another MC and gets protection from them, and then starts his own club once he gets out.

Unfortunately, there's likely only two more seasons max. I just don't know if there's enough time to do that much character development and bring ni another MC.

I thought Tig would escape from Pope and join up with Clay and go to Ireland with him. I was completely wrong on both points and Jax did come off looking like a genious with his plan.

I think Jax has something to do with Tara going to jail to keep her from moving. Really dirty but not surprised that post Opie Jax would do that.

I do think clay will get into another mc and that can lead to the last season war between two clubs.

That's what I was thinking of at first... but can't see them going back to the Aryan nation route. It was ok, but Zoebelle wasn't that great of a villain to begin with.

                  How about this..

Clay finally gets out after getting some protection from some former MC members.

In return, he teams up with Tig and Bobby to form their own MC to battle Jax. They've always seem to pit Jax's crew vs Clay's crew, and what better way to end the series then by the Sons battling former Sons.

                  Jax, Chibs, Happy, Phil

                  vs

                  Clay, Bobby, Tig, Juice

I don't think they've really ever went into details about his fascination with dogs.

I think it's just one of those things where he is a dog lover.

It's the reason why he and Kozic hated each other. Apparently, Kozic stole his dog? Or something like that. The writers made it seem like they were fighting over a female, but it was a female dog.

I think he had something to do with the dog getting killed.

To my knowledge the specifics of what happened to the dog were never revealed. I remember Kozic saying, "I loved her too", or something like that.

The likely plan is to go seven seasons, unless as Sutter says:

"We have a sense of it playing out in seven [seasons]. At this point, which is not outside the realm of possibility, I think I'd really have to f--- things up not to get seven seasons."
