Stopped watching Breaking Bad and Boardwalk after a few episodes. Haven't seen The Wire. Sons of Anarchy is good but not in the class of elite dramas.

Homeland is the best drama on TV. It doesn't waste episodes getting going under the guise of "character development", it has fantastic acting, an actually interesting and gripping plot, and when each episode is done you get the feeling that you can't wait for next week. That's a feeling I've only gotten with one other drama I've watched, and we all know what that is.

This doesn't touch "The Wire"'s level of enchantment and just sheer awesomeness.

I'd also put it below Breaking Bad, an I think I enjoy Sons of Anarchy more/look forward to each episode of Sons more. I still haven't watched last weeks Homeland yet.

May just wait until the season is over an watch them all at once.

I'm curious as to what show that is.

Agreed. What I like about Homeland, though, is that the drama feels real and organic, where as with 24, it seemed like they were writing things just for the sake of the suspense.

Which is fine, but I like the way Homeland does it better.

I don't like the way Homeland does it better but it's basically a different brand of 24. It's slowed down.

what are your guys thought on where the writers are going to take Carrie? I personally think that by the end of the season she will be mentally stable and a advisor but who knows, I know its a fictional tv character but it still sucked see'ing her career and life essentially destroyed.

Something tells me that she will not be any better off by tonights episode. This show really is interesting

Man, I have no idea. I'm really curious to see what happens next. I could see this going in a whole bunch of ways. I didn't expect this season to take the turn that it did, especially this early.

Yeah that's a good way to put it. And what makes it even better is its not on network TV. 24's problem was they had to shove SO much into each episode. It didn't allow for a ton of character development.

Great news: #HOMELAND has been picked up for a third season! The series has delivered 5.2 million weekly viewers.

No idea where they are going now, but that's what's great about it, it's unpredictable. They aren't dragging out a repeat of last season.
