Hahaha, I did the same exact thing just now. Just finished the episode from last Sunday. I saw Capone walk out and screamed "OOOHHHHH ****!!"

Ahh man season finale already? I wasn't expecting that tonight but that just means its going down tonight. Can't wait. I just hope Gyp lives because he's too good of a bad guy to die already.

Thought it was an OK finale. I don't think it did a lot to carry over the momentum from last wk's episode, but it was relatively entertaining. My other impression is that it left more questions than answers, but I'll likely re-watch 2-3 additional times to fill in the missing pieces.

I thought it was great. The only bummer was that there was nothing from Van Alden again, leaving his story open.

Oh yeah, that Richard Harrow fella is pretty ****ing awesome.

Not using spoilers because if you didn't watch it, you shouldn't be in the thread......

Anyway, Richard goes on the rampage and rescues the little boy. My question was, did Richard know any of the Nucky back door dealings were going down? I don't think so, I think he just had great timing. But then I was real suprised that Nucky and his brother show up at the house by themselves apparantly to take out a sleeping Rosetti. If Richard hadn't have come in and wreaked havoc, how would Nucky and his brother just have waltzed in and taken out Rosetti?

I agree that was weird that they came in by themselves.

Other than that, I thought it was great. Awesome violence and for Richard my god. That whole scene was bad ***.

Pretty bold move by Nucky to obliterate Masseria's men as they leave Atlantic City.

Disappointing to see Rosetti go that way. The guy who did it (Tonino) didn't seem to take great pleasure in it ("Sorry, I had to") despite Rosetti having bashed his cousin's head in with a shovel a couple of episodes back.

When I say it was an 'OK' finale, I guess I mean from the standpoint that many of us even within this thread were looking forward to Capone & Rosetti clashing. The way Capone closed the prior week's episode, you would've thought he would've had a bigger role in the final ep. Just felt it was a missed opportunity.

                      For clarification:

Pretty bold by Nucky indeed. Doyle is n a world of hurt. Rothstein is in a world of hurt. If Masseria lent Rosseti 42 men, I would imagine he still has 100+. Hard to say if he's going down in all of this. I have to rewatch that episode again because I can't figure out why Nucky and his brother would have shown up at Rosetti's stronghold alone. Even if Rossetti was supposed to be asleep, there would have still been multiple armed guards there had Richard not gone on his rampage.

The season finale was hit and miss to me. The harrow part as i expected was dope. After capone came out at the end of the 2nd to last episode i was so hyped... But it did not translate into what i thought it was going to be for the finale.

Such a great character. Will be missed but had to be done so everyone else could evolve/move on.

Maybe more. Johnny Sac (Sopranos) had 200 soldiers, so I'd say Masseria has 300-400*.

Just watched the finale, I actually enjoyed it very much. I thought Rozetti's fate was ironic to say the least.

Rozetti will go down as 1 of the best bad guys TV has ever seen.

All around solid season finale IMO
