    Ultrabook/Tablet Hybrid With Windows 8

With Windows 8 right around the corner, I've been looking into an ultrabook/Tablet hybrid which would be right down my alley. I was wondering what was coming out soon in this area? I read about the Vaio's and those seem really nice though around $1000 might be a little too much for me at the moment. Is it too early to read reviews? Or what is suppose to be good coming out in this new line?

I was poking around on the Dell website last week, and they have a pretty cool looking hybrid that's lets you rotate the screen on a swivel so you can use it as a laptop or as a tablet.

I didn't look to closely at the specs, but I think it was about a grand.

I'm going to wait a little bit to see how things shake out and to read some reviews.

I would not get a Windows 8 tablet right now, they are lacking apps. I here Windows 8 only has around 7,000 apps compared to the iPad with over 500,000 and Android with over 400,000 apps. Before you purchase, if their are some apps you MUST HAVE, I would check to see if its available on Windows 8.

Ive had Windows 8 Consumer Preview on my desktop for about six months now, and I tell you that their app store is a sad site.

I only use 10-12 apps regularly, I'm sure I'm not the exception. I'd just do my homework and make sure the apps I need are available rather than tell people to wait because the entrenched competition has 25 apps that do the same thing as each unique app in the W8 store.

Ive seen Win8 app store. And I doubt most of those 10-12 apps you use will be available in it. Unless they have added more apps since the last time I used it which is about two months ago.

The only thing I wouldn't have on a RT tablet that I use on my iPad 2 is Tapatalk and some games.

The app disparity is grossly overstated for most users IMO.
