Re: The Following - TV Series
Yes it could shot the nail and kill someone.
2 problems though-
1) Safety- as you mentioned, this was a construction site though, so maybe someone had modified it to bypass the safety.
2) Aim- this isn't like shooting a gun, sure you can get lucky, but a nail isn't a built and wouldn't fly straight even for that short of a distance.
Not even going that far, why the hell would someone leave a $500, $600 nail gun laying around a work site at night? Not only that, they leave it ready to go.Comment

Re: The Following - TV Series
So the FBI find out they have been hacked and the cult know where Claire is. Instead of sending every agent they have they send Ryan and no one else. Fantastic!Comment

Re: The Following - TV Series
I'm surprised Sergeant Batista was able to survive two gunshot wounds to the abdomen, especially when Claire and Ryan left him lying there alone for several minutes. I guess Ryan doesn't have a death curse!Originally posted by billmaticRadman is more like the ******** homeless man's version of Okur.Comment

They are watching because the show is Carroll and we are following.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: The Following - TV Series
Right, but it's the same people over and over again. I get it, maybe the show has some flaws, but if you don't like 'em, do people get enjoyment out of trying to sour the show for others?
Is it some kind of public service that they have to make sure EVERYONE knows the flaws?
You see where I'm coming from, right?Comment

Re: The Following - TV Series
My favorite drama of all time, 24, had a lot of flaws, but if I kept thinking about them, 24 wouldn't be my favorite drama anymore.
It's just entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. Take it for what it's worth.
I'm enjoying the acting of Bacon and the guy playing Carroll's part.Comment

I agree, really can't think of many good shows I've liked that didn't have flaws, hell even "reality" TV shows have flaws. Just look for the entertainment value-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Is Joe trying to recruit Ryan?
I'm still under the impression that Mike Weston is a Follower. When it showed flashbacks of "Followers" in the armoury they were beating the living crap out of each other. As if they were seeing how much punishment someone could take without killing them.Comment

Re: The Following - TV Series
I really enjoy this show but some of the sloppiness is getting to me lately. Take this last episode for example, Ryan goes off to investigate who else is in the basement with them, seems to be gone for a mere few minutes when he shoots the guy, comes back and all of a sudden Joe has managed to sneak down there undetected, get the drop on Weston, kill the guy, drag Weston into the room, tie him up and do it all before Ryan gets back and do it without making a single sound apparently. Meanwhile, why wouldnt they take the guy upstairs to question him instead of leaving the other agent completely alone upstairs while holding their own Q&A session in the basement? I do enjoy the show and will continue to watch it but it seems like things are getting sloppier by the episode just to further the story, or maybe Im just being overly critical, no idea.Comment

The Ryan thing, i missed it, is that what it said? He wants to recruit Ryan, that's funny. The connection that you just made, very interesting observation..... and the ending was definitely pretty interesting as well as the preview for next week.
The beginning of this series was meh, but the last 4 episodes have really captivated meComment
