I like how in the first scene Roderick leaves and Westin enters without knowledge of Roderick being in the building.

Local news shows up and no one in the FBI knew Hardy was holding a press conference?

If Claire wanted to kill Joe, why stab in the stomach and not the heart?

Still a good show and I'm sure Joe's character stays alive for next season.

I wonder if Roderick was wearing a bulletproof vest? Hmm.....

Re: The Following - TV Series

We stopped watching this show 2 episodes ago because of the repetiveness - Victim_A is captured and Ryan has to save them. Just when they think they have Victim_A saved, Cult_Member_A (who you thought was a good guy), steps in and recaptures Victim_A (or kills Victim).
It seemed really cheap how the writers could always get out of things by suddenly making any character part of the cult:

Victim: "Oh thank goodness you're here Mr.President! Now we're saved!"
*** President pulls out a gun and shoots FBI agent***.
Victim: "Oh no! You're one of the them!??! Wait? Who's that!? The Pope! Thank goodness I'm saved!"
          *** Pope pulls out a gun ***
          Victim: "For the love of....!"

So are the last 2 episodes any different than that?

Yeah, it was different last episode.

Ryan didn't save Joey, Cult Member A let him go.

I agree, my wife used to say the same with 24.

She would never ever watch a full episode with me. She pop in and say, yeah right, and Jack Bauer saves the day again in one day in how many different ways.

                Her comments never bothered me.

The acting of Bacon and Purifoy attract me.

This thread has slowed down since the beginning of the year.

                      Just interesting to note.

Wondering if people are still watching it till the final episode next week.

I really like Joe's character unraveling.

still watch it live every week. Wondering why the people who call it unrealistic don't watch the local news instead? It is a TV show after all..

I am watching it every week as well. Some of the FBI execution is pretty funny, but overall the show is very intriguing and exciting to me. I like it a lot and am very interested in what happens next week and how that can lead into another season.
