As big box stores continue to be dominated by online pricing, I have no doubt that we'll soon see them open all day Thursday as well.Comment

No, you're not. Having come from about six years of retail and retail management straight out of college, unless people have been there, it's hard to understand how little family/Holiday time these people are given, and now they're expected to be there ON the actual day of Thanksgiving. It's embarrassing. There is no reason the public can't wait until Friday to get their deals. And that's not to say I'm blaming this on consumers. The retail chains are constantly trying to one up each other as well.
As big box stores continue to be dominated by online pricing, I have no doubt that we'll soon see them open all day Thursday as well.
I wish there was something we as consumers could do to change this, but like DDW said, it's probably only going to get worse as Amazon and other online sites gain more of the market share.Currently Playing:
