Exporting Fruity loop tracks to Pro Tools
Anybody know how to do this? I recorded each track to Edison on F.L. then saved the file but My engineer is having a hard time matching them up on Protools even tho the BPM's are all the same..chuckcross.bandcamp.com

Re: Exporting Fruity loop tracks to Pro Tools
What isn't matched up exactly? Do you have a bunch of different WAV files the full length of the song for each sound tracked out?
I've never done it by recording anything through Edison. What I do to track out a beat is assign each sound to a different mixer track (and I recommend naming them as you see fit, especially if you used VSTs. FL will append the mixer track name to the end of the project name for each sound when you export, ex: "Beat1_Violin" rather than "Beat1_Edirol" or whatever the VST name is).
Then, when I go to export as a WAV, select the "Split Mixer Tracks" option and it'll export each sound as an individual WAV track wherever you chose to save it to. The tracks should then all line up the same in Pro Tools.
Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions or if this doesn't solve your issue. -

Yea I found out how to export and split mixer tracks on youtube, he still had some issues but I believe moving forward I shouldn't have a problem.... (Fingers Crossed). 2 tracks are so much easier to work with as long as its clean and crisp before going to pro tools.chuckcross.bandcamp.com
