I watched this weeks episode through "other means" and somehow I guess the file got messed up and the song started playing about 30 seconds before the credits started, cutting off the ending dialogue. Kind of changed the tone of the final scene.

A co-worker just came over and asked me what happened at the very end of the episode. She said music started playing over top of people speaking and it cut away when whatever his name is had the knife/sword out on Jamie. I asked if she watched it through "other means" and she said "no." It was DVR'd from Showtime but she didn't know if it was a recording of the first run from Sunday night or of a repeat run. Would Showtime have cut that last part out on the repeat runs for being too graphic? I was surprised to hear she experienced the same thing you did.

I was happy to see the return of Varys. Although, I could watch a show called "A Game of Thrones: Small Council Chronicles".

The last scene was pretty awesome. HBO seems to do a great job with those big scenes.

Hehe... Yeah. For those of us who read the books....that was a big scene to nail. They nailed it.

Indeed, I thought that part was very well done. Only thing missing was a mention of how she was a "true Targaryen" or whatever they said about her in the books after that. I also thought the scene at Craster's was well done.
