    Help! Forgotten Windows Login Password

Soo....haven't used my old desktop PC in 2 years. Start it up and have no clue what the password is. Tried every possible combination I could think of.

What are my options at this point? (I didn't make the recovery/lost password disc. Even if I did I wouldn't have the slightest clue where it is)

I would prefer not having to format and wipe it back to factory settings.

I was in the same situation a year ago and used this: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

I made a bootdisk and followed the directions carefully. If you mess up it's okay you can go back and do it over, just follow the walk through. If your laptop doesn't have a cd/dvd drive you can make a bootable usb drive.

IIRC This gets you in but then you have to go and set a new password. GL.

Hiren's BootCD also has a couple different utilities that can help:

      Sim Gaming Network
