West Virginia here, my Theater is like that ^ closest place we can go with "nice seating" is about an hour away.

What part man? We have a Regal in Martinsburg not to mention the Valley Mall Cinema in Hagerstown. We do have a cheapo theater with tickets like 3-5 dollars a piece but even it has a incline.

Im in Summersville. We have a crappy Marquee Cinemas. The Marquee in Beckley is nice though..

I've never heard of that chain of movie theaters (Marquee Cinemas). It has a combo of old and new theaters?

Yes. They have 19 locations with the most in West Va. Mostly around the WV, VA, TN, PA area. But there are two oddball locations with one in CT and one in FL.

Yes, and I avoid them like the plague.

Time to upgrade, theaters. If it doesn't have stadium seating, I won't watch the movie. It's one of those things I'm extremely picky over when choosing a theater.

It kind of looks like a place a group of people would go to watch a snuff film.

me and the wife go to a theatre like that in mass.
actually its the only theatre we go to because they sell pitchers of beer and wine.
and the movies are also only 5 bucks.
They also show some classic movies from the 80s and 90s (caddyshack, shawshank redemption, etc)
also B's, celts, and pats playoff games.

When I used to live in Pensacola I would go to this place called the Silver Screen. It had new movies and the tickets were a lot less expensive than the Rave. Plus, they served stuff like burgers, hot wings, pizza, etc and you could wash them down with a beer, daiquiri, wine and/or wine coolers.

It was certainly not as nice as the nice the new theaters they have now days, but it had it own endearing qualities about it. And was nice to bring a cheap date to too. Dinner and a movie for under $30 = winning

There's a place in Thornton, Colorado I went to like that when I saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 3D. It's called Cinebarre. You have a table in front of you and a menu with food items that are parodies of movie titles (I specifically remember "Children of the Popcorn," lol).

Our crappy theater has a slanted floor, so the seats rise a little at a time. It use to be an actual theater, then it was converted for film and then split into three different screens in the main theater area. It's not great, but it could be worse I suppose.

We have an old theater that is now a "dollar" theater. I think tickets are actually $1.50 though...
