Got a 7 yr old wanting a mini laptop. Got a coulpe question about it. Can you watch Netflix on it? Can you plug a usb flash drive in it to listen to music or watch movies? Like if she in the car with no internet? Play online games like on kids websited? For 199 for a 7 yr old seems like a good price if it can do what she wants.

You can watch netflix on it via streaming as the chromebook doesn't have a dvd drive. You also could possibly watch a movie via a USB stick or even possibly an external USB Drive like this:

Chromebooks have flash built in.
You can use the computer offline, but a lot of it will be limited. There are some offline apps, like games, and to get an idea of what the standard stuff can be done offline look at the chart here https://sites.google.com/site/chrome...et-things-done
So you can use it, but it'll be fairly limited.
The base Samsung is the one to get, quality is a decent clip better than the Acer.Comment
