This is getting solid reviews on RT & Mr. BD @ Bloody Disgusting is calling this Wan's best work to date.

Saturday can't get here soon enough

Been interested in this since I first saw the trailer, been reading up on some of the things that they say were going on...crazy stuff. My only problem is I haven't tried to see a horror movie in the theaters in such a long time cause they usually disappoint and I don't want to spend all that money to be disappointed. May give this one a try if the reviews continue to be strong.

        My body is ready.

... but unfortunately I'm a wicked mess with work for the next week. Might have to wait until next weekend.

Now that more reviews are coming out, the score on RT has jumped from 74% yesterday to 83% today... The hell with Saturday, I'm going to see this tonight. Hopefully I'll survive this-1 as my wife wants to come along & she's not the best person to watch a movie like this with. She's 1 of those jumpy people who have to touch you while their jumpy due to being scared, which in return make you jump.

The location the movie is based on is less then 25 minutes away from where I live on. Not a huge fan of horror films, but the good reviews and local connection peeked my interest. Going to try and find the the time to see it over the weekend.

I heard lots of good things about this. Apparently this is your good old school type of horror flick.

                    And it's also Rate-R.

Not because of blood, not because of cursing, not because of nudity, apparently they deemed it way too scary that it had to be rated R.

Very well done film. The atmosphere, scenery & acting were great. Definite Day-1 BR purchase. Really felt like a classic homage to the genre.

Kudos to James Wan on a potential classic...

I want to see this so bad, but my wife won't go. I might go solo on this one.

James Wan is what M. Knight Shyamalan should of/ could of been after the Sixth Sense but movie after movie he just disappoints. Wan on the other hand is a very good director and is underrated compared to Shyamalan ...
