Well, from promotional stuff and trailers, you can see him unmasked from behind at one point, and it's pretty clearly Adam Driver.
I think he and Rey are the children of Han and Leia. And I think they may borrow from the story of Revan in the video games (since that's not canon anymore) for this new trilogy.

A little off topic, but BioWare is developing a new Star Wars game. We know literally nothing about it at this point, but I think, given that they are known for kotor, jade empire, mass effect, dragon age, and old republic, it's pretty safe to assume it will be a story based rpg, though it may take place in a new time (and Kotor isn't canon anymore).
Also, all the hype for this is getting me to set up my gaming pc again just to play Old Republic again.

To be fair, Phantom Menace did well initially until the shine wore off. Granted, it had been 16 years between movies at that point, whereas we're only at 10, not counting an animated movie and two pretty good animated series.
Watched Episode III tonight, and I still think it gets a raw deal. I love that movie, and it's just below Empire in my favorites.
