    Once Upon A Time

Anyone else watch this? I'm already up to episode 17, Season 1 on Netflix. Season 2 is currently airing. I think they have 16 episodes in the books.

This is one of the most imaginative TV shows I have ever watched. The Evil Queen is tired of happy endings and gains the power to cast a spell that transports all of the classic storybook characters into our time (Including the Evil Queen who is the mayor of this created city, Storybrook). The catch is that none of the characters remembers anything about their storybook lives, only their contemporary ones.

The catalysts for the show are Emma Swan (perfectly played by House's Jennifer Morrison), her abandoned son, 12 or so year old Henry, and Snow White/Mary Margaret Blanchard. Without going into too much detail little Henry knows about the curse but is looked upon as an imaginative, precocious, but troubled boy, and Emma Swan is actually the daughter of Snow White/Mary and Prince Charming.

    Gets complicated-just watch.

I thought about starting this thread a few days ago. I watched the pilot back before Christmas, but finally got hooked about a week ago. I think I'm on episode 8 of the first season right now.

      It's pretty good.

Nothing too special to me, but my fiance loves it so I've caught every episode.

I did a search and couldn't find a thread for it.

Believe or not I'm actually caught up. I watched all the available Season 2 episodes on HuluPlus, except for the last one ("The Miller's Daughter") which I DVRed.

Last episode was great, but most of the episodes are.

I like the way they reinvented the Snow White VS Evil Queen angle, scrapping the "fairest of them all" angle.

I've watched the show from the beginning. It's not really an "OS" kind of show, but I think it's great.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

You hit the nail on the head. I've been thinking the same thing since the first day I watched it.

I've been watching this for a few season and really like it. Rumple/Gold probably my favorite character..he's just a bad dude, the guy that plays him does really good...Regina is damn sexy...i'd do her bidding anytime.
