Hmm. Typing posts is a horse a piece for me either way (as far as speed and such.). If the posts have code and pictures in them I'd much rather do it on a laptop.

My tablet = Browsing, tapatalk (most of my posts are from my phone or tablet) and using it to view strategy guide PDFs if I get stuck or want to 100% complete an older RPG. Also excellent for trips, if I know I'm going I put movies/TV on it for the plane. Of course if you get a keyboard for the tablet it makes it just as good for posts with more code and such.

My laptop=games, homework/business and basically an extra hard drive of storage.

My laptop doesn't work without being plugged in (battery replacement has been needed for over a year now) and I don't think its been turned on in 3-4 months.

I tried using my phone today for making posts with codes and it wasn't a lot of fun. I think after that experience, I'm going to stick with the laptop

In a year or 3 I'll be tempted to get one of the Ultrabook type laptops out there...

I think that would be more usable like a tablet....

Sooner than that though I'm thinking of getting one of the smaller tablets for web surfing...I have a Nook Simpletouch Glow for reading books, but I'd like something smaller than the iPad for web surfing I think.
