When I saw Olympus Has Fallen, I told my buddy that Emmerich should troll the audicence and stick this trailer in front of it. LOL

This looks terrible IMO. The Channing Tatum factor is what kills it, especially with him as a cop, since I can only picture 21 Jump Street Channing Tatum now.

Never seen it... and believe it or not, people haven't and would prefer that since they probably will see it someday, would not like it to be spoiled for them anytime soon.

Nothing. I'm just saying two things there in italics:

          1) People will undoubtedly be in an uproar that I haven't seen the film.

          2) It's fair for me to ask that if somebody posts about it in the movie impressions thread, that they wrap spoiler tags around anything that is deemed necessary. I personally don't care how "old" something is, we have those tags for a reason. No need to not use them out of laziness.

Anyway, I'll end up seeing both movies... that is, White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen.

            WTF is this ****!? Lololol

It looks like a concerted effort was made to make a ****tier movie than Olympus Has Fallen. Looks like they succeeded.

How can you spoil ID4? Its action sequences strung together by Will Smith's charisma.

You must have missed out on the discussion in the " what movies have you seen recently?" Thread.

Pretty sure Blzer would get flustered if you told him the boat sinks in Titanic.

I grew up with a great childhood friend who decided to spoil every single thing he had seen, especially when we were watching it then and there. He would say things like: "Okay watch watch watch right now when he's going to get hit with the cake," then he gets hit with the cake. We said anybody who did this was "pulling a David."

I think I am in some position to justify my reasons for disliking spoilers. The Titanic sinking is not a spoiler, a spoiler is a spoiler. I think we are all privy to know the difference here.

I also don't think this thread should be derailed into what it is doing. The only thing I was saying was that:

                          - It is possible for somebody to have not seen a film (mostly because of my inappropriate age at the time versus my lack of interest at an appropriate age), and one of my "gear grinders" is when people have that OMG jaw-dropping moment when they hear I haven't been exposed to/exposed myself to something.

                          - People should respect the fact (in that other thread) that people not only haven't seen movies, but that's the reason I even read that thread... to get interested in seeing movies I haven't seen, even if they're from the nineties. If people choose to spoil all of them, I don't really see how my interest would hold. I was previously led to believe, by human nature alone, that most would probably agree. Looking back, I might have been wrong this whole time, and it's disappointing.

I don't think R.E. films are really heavy to have massive spoilers or anything like there's some massive twist in the end, but I think it's just better to use OS's spoiler tag feature when you can.

By the way, shows how much I know... I led myself the false pretense that Emmerich directed Armageddon, when really it was Michael Bay. Scratch Anderson and throw in Pullman, then.

I've lost interest in seeing White House Down, more intersted in finding out if there's more than 100 people, who like movies, who have never seen Independence Day...on the planet.

EDIT - FWIW, my 4 year old has seen Independence Day....

All SPTO was doing was including Bill Pullman in your list of presidents.

                                Nothing spoiled and nothing sinister.
