Zack Braff Looks To "Kickstart" Sequel

I only question the "thematic" sequel angle to "Garden State".

Anyway it looks to be on a clear path to $2 million. Whether it breaks Veronica Mars hefty $5.7 million mark is another question.

    Zach Braff KickStarter

EDIT: Just saw the video. Nice appearance by Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons.

I was a little bummed to discover it isn't planned to be a true sequel to Garden State. I also somehow never made the conscious connection between Jim Parsons being the fast food knight in Garden State and now the lead character on The Big Bang Theory. As someone who cannot stand that television show, I kind of wish I could unrealize The Big Bang Theory was at all associated with Garden State.

Either way, neat idea on Braff's part. I really hope this turns out for him, because I very much enjoyed Garden State (though it seemed to take about three years of starting the movie then stopping partway through).

Fortunately Zack "realizes" the importance of having Parsons behind his KickStarter campaign.

        That video was hilarious.

Zach Braff: How did you get in?

Jim Parsons: I repelled through the skylight.

        And also:

Donald Faison (off screen): YOU HAVE ABSINTHE?!!!
