Yeah, it was the same effect. Trip didn't turn to ash, he turned to stone and then shattered when Skye broke out of her shell. The effect they used was the same for Skye and Raina when they got covered. At least that's how I remembered it lol. Could be wrong.

Daisy for Skye is not cutting it for me. The only popular Daisies are a duck, a pair of cut-offs and fake dog in an old WB cartoon. But her powers are pretty cooly displayed.

Overall, the production quality was pretty good. And the actor playing Fitz looks like his acting is getting better and better.... really liked him in this episode.

Addendum: ya know, I was looking at Roz (the new "villian") and thought, that's the chick Spencer dated early on in King of Queens.... I'm betting he brought her on to the show.... and damned if I'm not correct. Speaking of which.... hopefully Spencer is done with the series.

Maybe but I'm sure not complaining. As far as the show goes I'm liking the way it started. Feel like we're gonna get some really interesting stuff this season.

IMO, this is now the best of the network Super hero shows. The Netflix stuff is on another level because of the storytelling freedom they have.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Im not sure I am, and I don't think Skye/Daisy is really the one who should be the lead actor in these stories. Seems less umpf with it like that.

Right now I can't believe im saying this but I'm enjoying the flash more than this probably because it's a bit slow right now, but that wasn't my feeling last season.

Not sure that I've ever thought to compare Flash and Shield. The DC shows have a nice little universe going, while Shield is part of a much larger picture since they're part of the MCU.

This was my first thought about the "best network super hero show" also. Never thought I'd say it (always been more of a Marvel guy, and never really like the Flash character... and hate the CW) but Flash is probably at the top of my list. I don't know if Gotham counts but that's over Shield for me too... though I do still really like this show.
