Huge news! This is earlier than I thought. I was expecting a late-June premiere. 13 episode season, so if it starts the week after all other shows end, it's gonna be a mid-late August season finale.

Based on ABC finales, so far it looks like Shield could be airing either in the late Tuesday or Friday night slot they once had. I'm sure we'll get confirmation soon with show premiering in under 2 months.


In meantime I've been watching the old episodes and so far am at s2 midseason finale. I didn't care for Raina when I first watched, but I found her better rewatching these episodes. I still hate Tripp dying. My least fave part of the series.

I wonder if they knew that Hunter and Bobbi were gonna be written off if they would've still killed Tripp. Then again, I'm sure they also didn't anticipate the spinoff not taking off after the pilot pitch

2 weeks away!

I'm almost done s2. Got to the May Bahrain episode. So much happened in it.

Skye finds out who her mom is. Crazy family dinner time.

May puts down an inhuman child. Fake legacy of The Cavalry begins.

Next episode, they just had to build up so much sympathy for Cal who just wanted a normal life with his family. And we get to end where May and Simmons sees deathloks camera for a few seconds, just see Coulson with Ward running around with guns looking for Skye, then they all get shocked and confused.

With Avengers now out, I wonder if any part of shield will tie in with movie.

Season 6 Official Trailer.

I dont even wanna watch it, I want every part completely Spoiler free. But I hope s6 doesn't spoil Endgame. I haven't seen it yet and probably won't for another week or two(I'm watching back all my fave MCU movies beforehand. I'm on Winter Solider right now)

But I did see Daisy. She looks weird with different hair. Gotta get use to calling her Daisy again. I watched s1 and 2 in past several months. Been all about Skye.

That s2 finale was real nice. Maybe better than I remember. The Ward rejoining the team moment a few episodes prior, then Skyes mom fakes the Shield attack, kills Raina with Skye seeing everything, the crazy Ward/Bobbi/Hunter gun moment, all leading up to the battle on the ship.

This was partially because the actor was great, but I really liked Cal. That final scene with him getting to be with his family one last time was sad. At least he got a happy ending by getting memory wiped and becoming a vet.

Finally Shield is back tonight!

Didn't get to watch 2nd half of s5 like I wanted(before the announcement, I honestly thought they wouldn't premiere it until June), but at least got to rewatch the s5 finale as a year old refresher.


Not having Yoyo in s1-2 and then picking up in s5 where shes one of main people, I dont like that new yoyo as much. Hopefully she changes in s6.

I doubt it happens, but can we have a Fitzsimmons happy ending? For once, dont torment them. Fitz almost died in s1, Simmons sucked up to end s2, the Aida secret in s3, then Fitz cant recover from Hydra Fitz in s4, and future/past Fitz dies in s5.

Interesting season premiere. With only half a season, I hope we get a real good arc. Doesn't seem like season will have the team together.

Daisy looks weird with different hair. Simmons gets better each season.

The reveals at the end were big. Gonna need alot of explaining there.

Seems like the show doesn't have ties to MCU anymore. S5 really was the whole ending for that.

They had no idea before S5 ended if the show would even continue, so it was written as a series finale.

Though I didn't really like how S5 began either, so hopefully this season can get going fast.

Just give us FitzSimmons back already and go from there.

For a season with such few episodes, we're not getting much. Sure there were some funny bits(Simmoms in Ravenclaw lol) but story wise it hasn't been so good.

And then as soon as Fitzsimmons are reunited they get broken up again. This is cruelest thing to happen in the Marvel world.

A full FitzSimmons episode!

So many great and funny moments throughout.

I hope those 2 get a spinoff once Shield is done. They have so much chemistry (no pun intended).

Lots of shows have relationships that just drag on or have these pointless stories in the relationship to "keep things fresh". In all this time I dont think I've ever been bored of FitzSimmons, if anything I want to see them more.

Season finale is a 2 hour finale August 2nd.

SERIES finale is summer 2020.

Sucks that were seeing Arrow and Shield ending within several months of each other.

I've rewatched S1/2 inbetween s5/6, so gonna finish off the other seasons by then.
