    Video removed.

Loved the first movie, it was really ****ed up. Not sure how I feel about Spike Lee doing a remake of it but I guess we'll see.

Why remake a damn near perfect film that isn't even ten years old? Makes no sense to me.

Liked the original, but didn't love it like most here do. Maybe I should re-watch it, though... or see this remake.

Do a remake for people that didn't see or hear
            of the movie before.

The general public's aversion to foreign films is a little sad.

I've never heard of the original....but now I want to.

Hollywood can't afford to take multi-million dollar chances on original ideas, lest you end up with catastrophes like After Earth.

Looks like complete garbage, as almost every Hollywood remake of a foreign film is.

Hopefully it'll draw people to the original, instead of this garbage; because it really was a great movie.

I'm in the camp that... I think this will suck.

I just don't see it being done well and/or the characters won't all be pulled off as well. Maybe it will surprise me (I refuse to see it in theaters) but I'm not holding my breath.

The cast of the remake seem decent, but after looking at the similarities between the trailer and the original make it seem like they going elsewhere with the story.

You mean a movie about incest (and the possible "justification" of continuing the act) may be getting a story change so America doesn't get outraged at a movie? Say it ain't so.

                            This.

The original was awesome, as 55 said, near perfect. This doesn't make too much sense to me. The trailer looked OK but I am sure I will be let down.
