First Take-Skip Bayless & Steven A. Smith

Six years ago I ran a "Least Favorite Sports Broadcaster" poll at OS and the two finalist were Skip and Stephen A.

Now I find myself liking their show even though I want to choke Bayless every time he hates on Joe Flacco (Fluke-O) and claims the 49ers were robbed in the SuperBowl. They talk a lot of crap but I do find them interesting.

Am I alone in my appreciation of First Take?

Skip beat Steven A 69-40 by the way.

I watched it over the course of the NBA finals. Between Stephen A. and the guests they brought in...it was very good.

Even if you don't like SAS (he's pretty obnoxious), gotta admit he knows his basketball. Skip is just annoying.

I'll take SAS over Skip any day. He's just a shock jock as far as I'm concerned. Not even funny. I can't believe people actually like him.

They're both insufferable. Screaming A. Smith attempts to sound smart with his limited vocabulary. But in the end he just makes himself look and sound like a complete moron. Skip Bayless is just a troll. He says things to get a rise out of people.

I haven't seen the show but I've previously seen these two go at it and enjoy it. They're both so ridiculous that it's great.

They're popular to dislike. I don't like them per se, but I like personalities. I don't think ESPN would be more entertaining without them, but I wouldn't mind seeing another program in place of the show period.

I only seen the clips when they talk boxing. The show sucks. Skip Bayless is just there to troll and disagree with the obvious. When Bayless said Victor Ortiz had Mayweather where he wanted him until head butt aftermath, it was pretty obvious Skip is a troll. Stephen A. Smith isn't as bad, but he rides Mayweather's jock way too hard sometimes. I admit the show grabs your attention the same way a car wreck does, but I wouldn't take it seriously.

Yeah, Skip takes sides and defends or attacks people to no end. I didn't hear the headbutt comment but it's not only without merit it's nonsensical.

I've been watching this show since it was Cold Pizza back in like 06. I use to like it when they had different people come on and battle Skip and I use to LOVE it when Steven A. Smith came on every now and then and gave Skip the business! Now they are both on everyday, the show is lame now, im burnt out on them both.
I use to dislike Skip but I kind of like him now, people say he's a troll but he does make good points.
