This show is on a different level.

There was TV shows before breaking bad and there will be TV shows after, but nothing will ever be the same.

I will now only refer to TV shows as before (BBB) or after (ABB) breaking bad.

I'd agree with you if there were still two seasons left, or even one.

If I hadn't seen the flash forward with the assault rifle already, I would have told you Walter is as good as dead. Obviously, he still has fight in him.

Watching that last episode was almost like a religious experience.

Bryan Cranston...once again. Incredible. The phone call scene is one of the best acting performances I've ever seen. Incidentally, it reminded me of TDK's turn at the end.

I re-watched the phone call at the end. Walt knew what he was doing, absolving Skyler of everything. He knew there would be cops listening, he is not stupid. Basically taking all the blame for himself so his family could get on with their lives as best as possible. Skyler seemed to catch on to what Walt was doing halfway through the conversation. That is the reason he left the baby at the fire station and was crying despite acting "tough" on the phone.

At least that is what I got out of it. Sorry if it was obvious.

So do you guys think that Walt's decision to take Holly a spur of the moment thing or a was it calculated? Did he get out on the road and realize that he couldn't take care of her (especially since he's sick) or do you think that he had planned that as an "out" for Skylar all along?

My guess after last weeks show

My guess is that the Aryan's take Jesse. They need him already, but the will need him even more if Todd bites it during the shootout, I'm assuming he does die. They hold Jesse against his will and Walt ends up trying to save him, which is why he goes back. I have no idea what happens with Walt's family. My guess is that Walt gets framed as a cop killer and Skylar takes the kids. Honestly, I have no idea. I'm just throwing crap against the wall to see if it sticks.

Obviously I was way off about Todd, but right about them taking Jesse.
Now we get to speculate why Walt goes back and who the ricin is for. It's safe to guess that the gun was for Uncle Jack and company, but why is he going back? My guess is that he finds out that they're holding Jesse and for whatever reason has a change of heart and goes back to save him. I'm not sure about the ricin. I don't think that it's Marie or Skylar at this point. Maybe Jesse or Todd or Saul? Who knows?

The only thing that I do know that this point is that this show is freakin' brilliant!

Maybe he gets word that the blue stuff is out on the street. He knows that only one other person (Jesse) can cook it. Once he realizes Todd and Co. didn't finish the job he goes back to gun them all down and give Jesse the Ricin.

Chances of that being correct - 1%. Speculating is half the fun though.

So we know Walt "comes back" with weapons several months down the road, but we don't know for who or why.

If it is for Todd's uncles gang in retaliation for Jesse, what would be the reason? He has already given them permission to off him so something must have brought on a change of heart. Maybe the torture? Maybe the fact his blue product is back on th market (assuming Jesse cooks). Maybe to seek revenge for something that happens to Andrea/Brock related to Jesse's actions?

The only other reason I believe he would come back is to protect or seek revenge for something to do with his family. That coupled with the fact that the house is trashed has me guessing that maybe the gang comes after Walt's family or comes to Walt's house looking for something and destroys it in the proicess.

We don't know if Walt ever leaves the area. We know he has an out of state drivers license, but in the episode where he comes back to visit the delapidated house, his plates appear to be New Mexico plates. My guess is that he is in the area keeping a distant watch on all parties, specifically his family.

My guess is that the Ricin is for suicide. Knowing that he is on borrowed time, he offers his cooking services to Todd/his uncle in exchange for the release of someone. The ricin is then his way of ending things on his terms.

However, if that is the case then that means that members of that gang likely survive, which would seem to be a crappy ending, so maybe he pops the ricin prior to going out with guns blazing as a safety precaution in the event he is captured.

My take on the ricin now. I think it's for himself. After this last episode he knew that his family was gone. He has done all this work for them, and it has totally backfired. I don't think he wants to die alone with cancer. He won't have any family there bedside or to love on him his last days. So he takes the ricin himself.
