    1A. Sopranos
    1B. Breaking Bad

This may change as I've seen the sopranos like 6 or 7 times in its entirety but have yet to go back and rewatch Breaking bad or the wire in its entirety.

I still haven't gotten around to watching The Wire (I've seen Season 1 and about half of Season 2) or The Sopranos...

I feel like a terrible person.

        (1) Sopranos, (1A) Breaking Bad, (2) The Wire

The BB finale was superior to the Sopranos'.

There are scenes in The Sopranos that I have watched over and over again. Tony and Ralph's final battle, the Fat Ginny Sac Sit Down, Tony crowding the other Tony (Buscemi), Richie Aprile's beat down of Beansie 1 & 2, Vito in the gay bar, Furio's bat attack, Ralph's awkward, humiliating apology to Tony, Chris and Paulie in the woods with the Russian ....etc., etc. etc

There was just too much great stuff to ignore. There was some slowdown with the family stuff and AJ was a detriment to the show, but it's the best thing I've seen on TV.

The only two criticisms I have of BB are the "Fly episode" + the Season 2 finale. I thought the airplane crash was a bit underwhelming considering how the season began (bodies ominously being removed from the White residence).

Still the GOAT series for me. I'll honestly never look at TV shows the same. There are still plenty of good TV shows on the air and still more to be produced, but BB will be my frame of reference for them.

The Wire is my #1 show and Breaking Bad #2, but its just personal preference, they are completely different shows in pretty much every way. Loved Sopranos too, and it deserves bonus points for sort of ushering in this era that we got shows like the Wire and Breaking Bad, but there were a number of things I didn't like about Sopranos, Breaking Bad and the Wire I have almost no criticisms.

Breaking Bad is #1 for me, Sopranos in 2nd. Most excited I've been for a show week-to-week, perhaps LOST is a close 2nd in that regard. Also, the only time I haven't been concerned about a series finale, I knew the Breaking Bad writing crew would completely deliver and they really did.

I agree with this. Breaking Bad has quite literally ruined me for most other TV shows. I still get amped for Sons of Anarchy, and after catching up on Mad Men, I love that too....but regular Fox/NBC/ABC/CBS shows barely register much on the radar with me now.

Breaking Bad is my new #1. The Twilight Zone (1959-64) is my new #2. It had been my favorite show for over 20 years.

Hmmm. The season 2 finale to me was extraordinary and one of the highlights of the entire series. Just punch-in-the-gut stuff. I felt so horrible for Jane's father as he spiraled downward and of course all of the completely innocent passengers on those planes.

The Fly is one of them for me too. I get criticized for that sometimes.

I would have thought that they came because of the 1000 rounds of gunfire they heard.
