Co-signed. I hated every scene he was in during that last episode. I can't stand whiny Jesse.

I think it is appropriate for the level of carnage he has brought to the people in his life. It's a perfect contrast to Walter.

It really sucks because he was my favorite character, but they are quickly ruining him.

Overall, I felt the episode was boring. Waiting the whole episode for one memorable line isn't what I expect from this show.

I agree. Jesse, unlike Walt, still has a functional conscience and all of the death he's helped bring is weighing heavily upon him.

It didn't bother me in the last episode but I also do not expect Jesse to stay static in this particular mindset throughout the next seven episodes.

I agree. I hate to see people throwing away hard earned drug money though.

Having Jesse and Walt working together with Jesse's "YA B****!" persona would have gotten old too. The point of Jesse's meltdown is that he has a conscience unlike Walt. I agree, it made for great drama and it also creates suspense because Jesse is a ticking time bomb.

I just don't buy the whole Jesse's life is horrible because of Walt angle. He is unquestionably in a better place post Walt than he was pre Walt. Plus he's celebrating, high fiving and counting money when everything is going well, but when something bad happens he just goes totally in the tank. Can't stand it. I realize this is an uncommon opinion.

I also find it hard to believe that someone who gets into mass producing and selling of drugs, does so for a long period of time, shows little to no remorse suddenly finds his conscience in an extreme manner.

What? Jesse's been an emotional character for the entire series.

Are people forgetting about how Jesse reacted to Combo, Jane, that kid Gus killed and Gale? Jesse's character has been pretty consistent with this...

I agree he has been an emotional character overall, but when did he ever show signs like he was going to go off the deep-end? And if he cared so much, why didn't he get out one of the multiple times he had the chance?

Selling and/or manufacturing drugs is a completely different animal than committing and/or being an accessory to murder, though.

While I do agree that they have gone a little too emo with his character, I can kind of see why they started to head that way. Pretty much every character on this show is an antagonist in some fashion (I've covered this in other threads) so they need some sort of moral ground.
