I don't see Walt returning with the purpose of saving Jesse either (I think his assumption will be that Jesse is already dead). My guess is that he's returning because Todd and Co. offed more members of Walt's family.

We'll see how it goes, but I think Jesse is likely to be the one that finally ends Walt. Just makes too much sense - which is actually why it probably won't go down like I foresee.

Another Gus Fring/Walt White reference....

Gus was very smart transporting his meth via barrels of his chicken sauce/marinade (whatever it was) .

Now Walt is using barrels to transfer money.

Maybe he gets word that the blue stuff is out on the street. He knows that only one other person (Jesse) can cook it. Once he realizes Todd and Co. didn't finish the job he goes back to gun them all down and give Jesse the Ricin.

Chances of that being correct - 1%. Speculating is half the fun though.

I just listened to the Grantland podcast and one thing I overlooked that was mentioned in the podcast is that Walt's family is going to be broke. Walt took all the money and they're likely going to lose the car wash because the cops will shut it down due to money laundering. I don't know if Saul can help out or if Skyler even wants him involved any more. Walt could come back to get the cash back to provide for his family. Walt's family having no money would be harsh considering the money is why Walt did this to begin with.
