Finally got caught up with this season in time for the finale. Love how the writer's have rewarded people that have watched the entire series.

Anybody think there's a chance somehow Robin and Barney have a daughter and Robin is the mother that won't be able to attend her daughter's wedding? It would still be depressing but showing that Barney turned out to be a great father would be a "happy" ending.

I still think people were overthinking that quote. I hope so at least. Maybe just talking about one of Ted or the mothers mother not being there or something.

2 days from today is finale day! Gotta rewatch a few big episodes,including series premiere and my fave episode.

What are some stories that are not yet finished in the series? Besides the obvious one of how he met the mother and stuff?

The pineapple?
How Ted hurt his hand?
How Robin became a bullfighter?

Those are main ones I can think of now, but what else?

Just thought of one right now.

Marshall and Lilly's bet on Ted and Robin ending up together. Unless there's some crazy twist tonight, Marshall needs to pay Lilly.

Just a few more hours until the finale! Don't think I've ever been this excited/sad for a series finale before. Not gonna miss the episodes so much(especially since S7-8 quality really wasn't great,even a number of S9 not so great) but it was always nice to know that HIMYM was apart of my tv viewing schedule and many mondays it'd be on. And the show won't ever air on CBS again either. No more seeing HIMYM promos on TV or anything.

I really hope whatever show replaces HIMYM ends up doing good job of making people move on from it. HIMYM somewhat started off as that for Friends in a way, so hopefully some other show does that for HIMYM.

I excited about it too. The show has been one of my favorites over the past 9 years even with the uneven seasons. It's not the level of the Friends finale for me, probably more along the lines of Smallville. HIMYM does have something unique about it though, and that's its story. I have no idea how this is going to end and 9 years of watching the show comes down to tonight. Friends wasn't that way.
