Never realized this, but the show is going on a break again.

Were off for a month during winter break, then returned for 4 weeks, then took 2 weeks off for Olympics, then returned for 3 weeks before taking another 3 weeks off.

They do it every year.

Season 1 took a break from Feb. 17th to March 17th, then March 31st to April 14th

Season 2 took a break from Feb. 23rd to March 22nd, then March 29th to April 19th

Season 3 Feb. 7th to 21st, then March 28th to April 25th.

I never get why so many shows do this. I can understand winter and olympic breaks like we have this year, but I never like when shows only have a few episodes, then have a few week break after that. To me, it hurts flow of season when breaks start happening and then by time next episode airs, you forget some details of last episode(even with their "Previously on ___" stuff)

S1s break you mentioned from March-April was just a single week off(episodes did air March 31st and April 14th, so April 7th was only week off)

S2s March-April break was 2 episodes off before having 6 straight weeks of episodes to close out season

S3 March-April break was 3 episodes off before having 5 straight weeks of episodes to close out season

This seasons break is 3 episodes off and looks like it'll be 7 straight weeks of episodes to close out season.

I assume the break is to do with the NCAA tourney. They don't want to go up against that. Just a guess.

S3 started it and S4 has continued it...this season is centered around too much of Barry & Iris. I want more of the others.

I actually miss single Barry...his whimsical (felicity like?) and sometimes awkward actions was so enjoyable.

Arrows break I believe ends before the flash though, just weird timing to have. Guess it's all to have the endings properly on the shows. Better than a break near the finale. Forgot which show, but I remember in past seeing a show go on a break a week or two before season (or midseason) finale, which just hurt momentum.

And it's funny and ironic seeing Barry have more chemistry with almost all other major female leads over Iris. Kara, Felicity and Caitlin I find are better friends for Barry than Iris. Even Patty in hindsight might've been better than Iris now. Though Iris in s1 and 2 was fine.

Wally showing just what life would be like if a speedster actually did use his speed for everything. There wouldn't even be an episode because the speedster could literally do an entire episodes worth of stuff in a few seconds.

So I finally "Flash Binged" this season after having them all on my DVR all season.
The only one I havent watched is the "Run Iris Run" episode.

I definitely like this season better than season 3, Devoe was a VERY awesome villain for the first part of the season. Switching actors has had a negative impact though, as everyone else has mentioned.

Ralph has also "grown" on me and the SFX for the most part have once again been outstanding for a tv series. The Bomb episode being really impressive.

Excited to see how this ends up, and hopefully nothing similar to before

I am still stuck on halfway through Run Iris Run, but I did not like the episode leading up to it or the first half of this last episode.
